Huzaif Qaisar

Huzaif Qaisar has diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Huzaif has worked as a Communications Advisor at Global Affairs Canada since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the President of the Ontario Young Liberals starting from October 2021. From November 2020 to March 2023, Huzaif worked as a Legislative & Communications Assistant at the Parliament of Canada. Additionally, they worked as a Campaign Manager for the Brampton-Centre region at the Ontario Liberal Party from April to June 2022. Previously, they worked as an Alumni Admin at Carleton University - School of Public Policy and Administration from September 2020 to April 2021. Huzaif also served as a Research & Communications Assistant at the Canadian Defence and Security Network from August 2020 to January 2021, and as a Research Assistant at the Canadian Global Affairs Institute from June to August 2020. Prior to that, Huzaif worked as the Director of Communications for CANIMUN at the United Nations Association in Canada from October 2019 to April 2020. Huzaif also had short-term roles as a Communication Consultant at the Social Planning Council of Ottawa in October and November 2019, and as a Fundraising Coordinator at Envision Fundraising from August to September 2019.

Huzaif Qaisar completed their education from Carleton University, where they pursued a degree in Law and Political Science (Honours) with a focus on International Relations and Affairs. In addition to their academic qualifications, Huzaif also obtained certifications such as Secret Security Clearance from Global Affairs Canada | Affaires mondiales Canada, MindTrust Youth Leadership Program from Mindtrust Leadership, and Security Clearance from the Parliament of Canada in September 2020.
