Chris Wilson

Chris Wilson has extensive experience in the mechanical and operations fields, with a career spanning over four decades at Ontario Northland. Beginning as a Pipe Fitter and Blacksmith from 1980 to 1994, Chris advanced through various positions, ultimately serving as a Retired Manager of Training and Continuous Improvement, Senior Manager of Operations for the Diesel Shop, and Project Manager for Locomotives. In these roles, responsibilities included developing training programs for mechanical department employees, implementing process improvements to enhance safety and productivity, and supervising the maintenance and repair of motive power equipment. Chris holds degrees in Heavy Equipment Mechanics and Steam Fitting, having studied at Canadore College and George Brown College.
