Haodong Qiu

Haodong Qiu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2007, they completed an industrial attachment at STMicroelectronics, where they collaborated with engineering teams and implemented systems to improve data entry accuracy and traceability. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Nanyang Technological University as a Research Fellow and later as a Programme Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as operating advanced lithography tools, developing micro/nano-fabrication processes, designing and fabricating photonic devices, and managing research projects. Since 2017, Haodong has been working at Onto Innovation, initially as a Senior Application Scientist and currently as a Staff Application Scientist. In this position, they have played key roles in solving critical layers for major accounts, translated customer feedback into technical solutions, collaborated with internal teams, and provided training and documentation on various applications and tools.

Haodong Qiu completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Microelectronics from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, graduating between 2004 and 2008.
