Jason Shields

Jason Shields is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Vice President and General Manager of Global Service at Onto Innovation since April 2024, Jason previously held the position of Vice President of Equipment Intelligence at Lam Research from May 2015 to April 2023. Prior roles include Vice President of OEM Process Control Solutions at Nanometrics and Vice President of Fab Products at ASML, where Jason managed significant integration projects. Jason's early career includes over 15 years at KLA-Tencor as Sr. Director of Marketing and a role as Defect Section Manager at AMD, overseeing defect and yield improvement initiatives. Jason earned an MBA from Santa Clara University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Texas A&M University.
