Sherryl Harris

Sherryl Harris has a diverse work experience. Sherryl is currently working as a Production Manager at Onto Innovation since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon as an Operations Manager from July 2020 to December 2021. Before Amazon, they were employed at Mizkan America as a Production Supervisor from June 2019 to May 2020. At Mizkan America, they conducted engineering studies, recommended improvements for manufacturing processes, and developed project submittals.

Sherryl also has extensive experience at Tesla, where they held several positions. Sherryl worked as a Production Supervisor on various projects, such as the PWT Model S/X Battery Module Lines, Model 3, PWT Model S/X Battery Module Rework, and Model S/X PWT Drive Unit, from 2015 to 2019. During their time at Tesla, they achieved significant milestones, including improving safety and quality scores, increasing production throughput, applying visual management techniques, and leading cross-functional efforts for rework and defect resolution.

Sherryl later became a Manufacturing Operations Manager for the Final Integration and PCB/Image Acquisition Group in the same division from 2006 to 2014. In these roles, they focused on improving production processes, reducing cycle time, and conducting quality audits.

Additionally, Sherryl had a brief stint as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Molecular Devices in 1999. Their work primarily involved supporting manufacturing operations.

Sherryl Harris obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, completing their studies between 1995 and 2000. Sherryl later pursued a Master's degree in Engineering Management and Leadership from Santa Clara University, which they obtained between 2004 and 2006. In addition to their academic achievements, Sherryl Harris has obtained several certifications in the field of environmental health and safety. Sherryl obtained the Environmental Health and Safety Professional Certificate from the National Association of Safety Professionals in October 2019. Additionally, they obtained the OSHA Standards for General Industry certification from the OSHA Training Institute Education Center at Chabot-Las Positas Community College District in November 2019. In December 2019, they completed certifications in Hazwoper 40hr and GHS and OSHA Hazardous Communication from 360training. In January 2020, they obtained the Certified Environmental Specialist certification, also from 360training.
