Trung le

Research Scientist at Onto Innovation

Trung Le began their work experience as a Research Assistant at Stony Brook University in September 2002, where they worked until December 2009. Trung then joined Rutgers University in March 2010 as a Postdoctoral Researcher for the MINERvA neutrino-nucleus experiment at Fermilab. During their time at Rutgers University, they developed software for simulation, event reconstruction, and physics data analysis. Trung also led the analysis of neutral pion production by charged-current antineutrino interactions. In July 2015, Trung moved to Tufts University as a Postdoctoral Researcher for the MINERvA neutrino-nucleus experiment at Fermilab, where they led the software development for the entire collaboration. Trung wrote POSIX multithreaded code that significantly reduced data processing time. Trung is currently working as a Research Scientist at Onto Innovation since September 2021.

Trung Le pursued their education in the field of physics, with a specialization in theoretical and mathematical physics. Trung obtained a Bachelor's degree from VNUHCM - University of Science. Following that, they attended The Abdus Salam International Center for Theoretical Physics, where they completed a Diploma in Theoretical Physics. Trung Le further advanced their studies at Stony Brook University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Elementary Particle Physics.
