Joyce Wang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they are the Co-Founder and CEO of Ontologic, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, Joyce worked as a PHD student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2016 to June 2023. Joyce also gained experience as a Research Technician at Duke University Medical Center from April 2014 to July 2016, where they conducted research and completed an undergraduate honors thesis. Additionally, Joyce served as a Community Teaching Assistant at Coursera from February 2014 to December 2014, moderating and assisting students in discussion forums. Lastly, they worked as a Research Assistant at Duke University from June 2012 to May 2014, performing research tasks under the guidance of Kevin S. LaBar, Ph.D.

Joyce Wang completed their education at Duke University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience. Following this, they pursued higher studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Brain and Cognitive Sciences. Joyce Wang's PhD program at MIT spanned from 2016 to 2022.
