Svetla Boytcheva

Svetla Boytcheva has held various positions throughout their career. Svetla started as an Associate Professor at Sofia University in 1991, where they remained until 2008. Svetla then joined the American University in Bulgaria as an Associate Professor from July 2012 to December 2014. In 2015, they became an Associate Professor at the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and held this role until May 2022. Currently, they are working as a Senior Research Lead at Ontotext, Sirma AI, starting from January 2019.

Svetla Boytcheva completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski from 1989 to 1994. Svetla later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at the same university from 1999 to 2003.
