Yotaro Watanabe

Yotaro Watanabe is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and research, currently serving as Senior Research Lead and Vice President of Engineering at PKSHA Technology since January 2017. Prior to this, Yotaro held the position of Chief Research Officer at 株式会社BEDORE for a brief period in 2019 and worked as Principal Researcher and Assistant Manager at NEC Corporation from April 2014 to December 2016. Earlier in the academic career, Yotaro was an Assistant Professor at 東北大学 from April 2010 to March 2014 and completed studies at Nara Institute of Science and Technology, earning a Doctor of Engineering and Master of Engineering in Natural Language Processing between 2005 and 2010.
