Mounir Ihataren has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations. Mounir started their career in 2007 as a Jongerenwerker/Sociaal-Cultureel Projectuitvoerder at Factor-G, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an IT Support Engineer at ASPIDER-NGI before transitioning to the role of Incident Manager from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, they joined WorkFlowWise as an Application Consultant and later became the Cloud Operations Lead from 2017 to 2020. During their time at WorkFlowWise, Mounir was also a member of the Business Strategy Team, focusing on Cloud Operations & Customer Success. Mounir played a crucial role in facilitating customer success and utilizing data-driven insights to improve relationships and create value with customers. In 2020, WorkFlowWise was acquired by Onventis, and Mounir continued to contribute as the Head of Customer Success. Mounir played a key role in helping customers become more successful by leveraging products and services provided by the organization.

Mounir Ihataren's education history includes attending GSG Leo Vroman from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained an Atheneum degree. Following that, they attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2005 to 2006, studying Bedrijfskunde. In 2006-2007, they continued their education at Erasmus University Rotterdam, focusing on Bestuurskunde. Additionally, Mounir has obtained several certifications, including ISAE3402 type II from WorkFlowWise in 2018 and 2020, ISAE3402 type I from WorkFlowWise in 2018, Qlikview Business Intelligence Software from Qlik in 2014, and SQL Server Management Studio from The Academy in 2012.
