Jacklyn Rome

Jacklyn Rome has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jacklyn is currently the Founder & CEO of Onward, a position they have held since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Co-Created from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they collaborated with Fortune 500 companies to develop and launch new businesses.

From 2017 to 2019, Jacklyn worked at Blue Apron, first as the Senior Director and GM of New Business Channels, where they successfully implemented an on-demand delivery channel and presented it to Blue Apron's executives and board. Jacklyn then served as the Director of Strategy & Planning.

Before their time at Blue Apron, Jacklyn was with Uber from 2015 to 2017, where they held various leadership positions. As the Express POOL Team Lead, they spearheaded the launch of a new product and achieved exceptional performance ratings. Jacklyn also led a competitive strategy team, resulting in significant market share growth and the development of Uber's first driver loyalty program. Additionally, they managed Uber's first offline driver acquisition program, expanding it to multiple cities.

Jacklyn's earlier experiences include working as a Venture Advisor at Telegraph Hill Capital, where they conducted due diligence on potential investments, and serving as the Head of US Operations at 2B Angels, a micro-VC firm. Jacklyn began their career as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young and later worked as a Senior Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst at Growthink, where they led numerous strategic consulting engagements for early-stage companies. Jacklyn also interned at MTV Networks as an Integrated Marketing Intern.
