Laura Sierra

Laura Sierra, PhD has extensive experience in clinical research, starting from their early roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University to their current position as Head of Clinical Research at Valerio Therapeutics. Laura has worked at companies like Incyte and Epizyme in various roles, such as Director of Clinical Research and Associate Director. Laura'sacademic background includes a PhD from Baylor College of Medicine, where they also served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and gained significant experience in Ewing's Sarcoma research. Additionally, they interned at Fannin Innovation Studio, gaining valuable experience in the development and commercialization of early-stage life science companies.

Laura Sierra, PhD completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology at King's College in 2010. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Integrative Molecular and Biomedical Sciences from Baylor College of Medicine, graduating in 2017. Prior to their college education, they attended MMI Preparatory School from 2000 to 2006.
