Courtney Fiala

Courtney Fiala is a Senior Software Engineer currently employed at onXmaps, Inc. since March 2023. Prior to this role, Courtney held a similar position at Strava, where leadership of an iOS development team focused on enhancing media uploading and editing capabilities was a key responsibility. At Gaia GPS, Courtney led iOS developers in the development of a backcountry mapping, navigation, and tracking application, overseeing the complete software development life cycle. Previously, at SRC, research involved implementing advanced digital signal processing methods and machine learning algorithms for RF signal classification. Courtney's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where research and teaching assistantships involved machine learning methodologies and mentorship of computer science students.
