James Brodie C.m.t.

James Brodie C.M.T. is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in learning and development, algorithmic trading, and financial markets. Currently serving as the Head of Learning and Development at Onyx Capital Group since November 2023, Brodie has previously held senior roles at Training The Street and Intuition, where expertise in financial market training and various analytical methods was demonstrated. As the founder of Athena Financial Solutions, Brodie developed algorithmic trading strategies and applied technical analysis and behavioral finance. Contributions to the CMT Association include board membership and founding the Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippine chapters. Previous positions include CIO at The Sherpa Funds, Director at TD Securities and Credit Suisse, and Trader at Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank. Brodie began their career at Arthur Andersen as an accountant, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from the University of London.
