Aaron Yarbrough

Aaron Yarbrough has a strong background in engineering, with significant experience in the renewable energy sector. Aaron currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at ONYX Insight, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GE Renewable Energy as a Senior Engineer from January 2018 to July 2022. At GE, they were responsible for designing various rotor sizes for different machine platforms and leading the design of multiple blade designs. Aaron's expertise also includes analyzing composite materials for wind blades, specifically in terms of damage tolerance, strength, and fatigue performance. Aaron began their engineering career with an internship at Lockheed Martin from 2005 to 2007.

Aaron Yarbrough obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. Aaron attended Clemson University from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at North Carolina State University from 2011 to 2014.
