Colin McNichols has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Colin started their career at GE Healthcare as a Co-op in 2007, followed by an internship at GE Energy in 2008. Colin then joined GE Energy as a Mechanical Engineer, specializing in Structural Design, and participated in the Edison Engineering Development Program from 2009 to 2010. In 2014, Colin worked at Romax Technology as a Rotating Machinery Engineer, where they were responsible for drivetrain inspection, instrumentation, condition monitoring equipment interface and training, and failure root cause identification and analysis. Currently, Colin is employed at ONYX Insight, where they hold the positions of Engineering Manager and Senior Design Engineer.
Colin McNichols completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2004 to 2008. Colin then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012.
