Marc Buonanni

Marc Buonanni has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Marc worked as a Senior Consulting Engineer at ONYX Insight starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they were an Application Engineer for Wind Energy at Schaeffler from May 2021 to July 2023. At Schaeffler, they collaborated with customers in North and South America on bearing proposals and inquiries for the wind industry application. From April 2019 to November 2020, Marc worked as a Project Manager for Site Installation at GE Renewable Energy. Marc also has experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Senvion USA Corp. from May 2012 to April 2019. Additionally, Marc participated in a Work Experience Program at Lockheed Martin from June 2011 to May 2012, where they expanded and maintained the material property database GRANTA and worked with Material Engineers and suppliers to verify material data.

Marc Buonanni earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completing their studies from 2007 to 2012. In 2015 to 2016, they pursued further education at the University of Colorado Denver, where they took three classes towards a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEeng). Additionally, in 2010, they obtained a minor in International Engineering from Jönköping University. Marc also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in September 2017.
