Raj Arondekar has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Raj started their career as a Research Intern at TWI Ltd - Brunel Innovation Centre, where they conducted research on NDT and structural health monitoring technologies. During this time, they participated in an EU funded project and contributed to the development of an ultrasonic condition monitoring technology for electrical cables in fly-by-wire aircrafts.
Following their internship, Raj worked as a Student Ambassador at Cranfield University, where they assisted prospective students with university applications and visas, as well as supported on-campus events.
After completing their studies, Raj joined QuEST Global and held two positions at Rolls-Royce plc. As an Aerothermal Performance Engineer, they were involved in computer modeling to predict the performance impact of engine design changes, as well as analysis and diagnosis of engine test problems. In their role as an MRO Service Engineer, Raj addressed non-conformance and damage issues on in-service engine components/modules in overhaul shops.
Prior to their current role, Raj worked at Belcan, where they had two positions. As a System Design Integration engineer, they contributed to the integration of systems, while as a Performance Engineer, they investigated production pass-off test data and supported safety alert tasks.
Most recently, Raj joined ALTEN LTD - UK as a Performance Engineer, where they focused on performance analysis.
Currently, Raj is working at ONYX Insight as a Condition Monitoring & Data Analytics Engineer. In this role, they manage regional projects to connect wind turbine assets to the cloud and supports the on-boarding process for new customers. Raj also monitors asset performance using a condition monitoring and analytics platform.
Overall, Raj Arondekar's work experience showcases their expertise in engineering, data analytics, condition monitoring, and performance analysis in the aerospace and wind energy sectors.
Raj Arondekar's education history begins in 2007 when they completed the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) with distinction at The British International School of Jeddah. Raj then pursued an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma at the same school from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Raj attended Brunel University London from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering with Professional Development. Most recently, in the year 2016, they attended Cranfield University and completed a Master's degree in Thermal Power, specializing in Rotating Machinery, Engineering, and Management.
