Maria Syed

Maria Syed has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Maria is currently working at Aware Super as a Senior User Experience Designer. Prior to that, they worked at oOh! as a User Experience Lead. Maria also has experience as a Product Designer at Volt Bank, where they participated in design discussions, developed sketches and prototypes, and collaborated with stakeholders. Before that, they served as a Team Lead Product Design at Evamp & Saanga, where they led user interface and user experience design projects for various ongoing clients. Maria's earlier experience includes roles as a UX Designer and Video Editor at Knowledge Platform, where they actively participated in brainstorming sessions and usability testing, and as a Technical Support Engineer & Project Coordinator, providing technical and administrative support to various clients.

Maria Syed completed their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Beaconhouse School System Karachi from 1996 to 2004. Maria also attended Beaconhouse School System Abbottabad from 2004 to 2006, although the specific degree and field of study for these two schools are not provided. In addition to their formal education, Maria Syed has obtained additional certifications, including a Content Design 2-day Foundation course from Content Design London in June 2022 and a UX Foundations: Storytelling certification from LinkedIn in October 2021.
