Ian Wallace-Hoyt

Ian Wallace-Hoyt has a strong background in software development and engineering. Ian started their career at Dimension4 in 2003, where they worked as a Software Development Engineer focusing on HTML/JavaScript based interactive electronic technical manuals. Ian then moved on to AOL Wireless in 2005, where they continued working as a Software Development Engineer until 2007. After that, they joined Varia Mobile as a Software Development Engineer, working there until 2010. Ian then worked at RealNetworks as a Lead Software Development Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Ian briefly worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer in 2012 before joining Ookla in 2013. At Ookla, Ian started as an Android Software Architect and later became the Mobile Software Manager, in which they currently hold the position.

Ian Wallace-Hoyt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Puget Sound, where they studied from 1999 until 2003. In May 2023, they obtained a certification as a Certified Mentor from Mentorloop.
