Isla McKetta, MFA, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Beginning in 2003, Isla worked at Peterson Sullivan LLP as a Lead Word Processor, where they exhibited precision, leadership, and organizational skills. From 2008 to 2012, Isla held multiple positions, including being a Reader at Farfelu, Fiction Editor at Pitkin Review, and Communications Coordinator and Managing Editor at AIA Seattle's Forum Magazine. During their time at AIA Seattle, Isla showcased project management, attention to detail, and design expertise. Isla continued to expand their expertise in content strategy and development as a Senior Content Strategist at Portent, Inc. from 2012 to 2014. Isla then joined Moz as a Content Crafter, where they focused on audience engagement and nurturing through various content formats. In 2014, Isla began their tenure at Ookla, starting as a Content Manager and eventually progressing to the roles of Head of Content, Director of Content, and finally, Senior Director of Consumer Marketing. Isla McKetta, MFA has a diverse education history that spans several years. In 1993, Isla McKetta graduated from Moscow Senior High School with a diploma. Following this, Isla attended the University of Washington from 1996 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Sociology. In 2007, Isla pursued further education in Literary Fiction by completing a certificate program at the University of Washington Professional and Continuing Education. In 2008, Isla enrolled in Goddard College, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing, graduating in 2010. Isla's dedication to professional development led them to complete the EDGE Professional Development Program for Writers at Artist Trust in 2012. The same year, they also completed the Board Training Program at ArtsFund.
