Ran Markovich

Ran Markovich has extensive experience in quality assurance and automation. Currently, they are serving as a QA Automation Team Leader at oolo since December 2021. In this role, Ran is responsible for implementing CI infrastructure, guiding Dev and QA teams in CI/CD methodologies, providing automated solutions to various teams, and performing administrative tasks on AWS.

Prior to their current position, Ran worked as a QA Automation Engineer at Minute Media from October 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they served as a QA Coordinator at harmon.ie from July 2018 to August 2019. In this role, they managed and executed QA tasks for desktop, web, and mobile applications in an Agile/Scrum environment and coordinated quality assurance among R&D and Product teams.

Ran also worked as a QA Engineer at Matrix from August 2017 to July 2018, and as a GIS Engineer at Taldor from August 2015 to August 2017. Ran started their career at Bezeq, where they worked as a Technical Support staff from August 2012 to May 2015.

Throughout their career, Ran has gained expertise in implementing CI infrastructure, guiding teams in CI/CD methodologies, providing automated solutions, and executing QA tasks in both manual and automated manner. Ran has demonstrated their ability to coordinate and ensure quality among different teams and has experience in GIS and technical support roles as well.

Ran Markovich pursued their education at Tel Aviv University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Geography from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they attended john bryce in 2016 to 2017, where they earned a Professional degree in QA + ISTQB certification.
