Lead Software Engineer at Oooh

Danielle Tilley has been working in the software engineering field since 1996. Danielle began their career at Western Star Trucks (North) Ltd as a Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for scheduling and supervising programmers, developing and administering databases for Oracle and SQLServer, and integrating 3rd Party applications with the legacy AS/400 system. Danielle also created a Problem Tracking Workflow System and developed and maintained programs for Helpdesk and Development Requests.

In 2002, Danielle moved to Cascadia Brands Inc as a Senior Systems Analyst. In this role, they developed and maintained Progress customizations for QAD, created a web-based warehousing system to allow inventory control and invoice printing with real time updating of Progress/QAD databases, and served as webmaster for all in-house websites.

In 2006, Danielle became the Owner of Ponderosa Web Solutions. As Owner, they developed and maintained custom websites using a combination of XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and a framework such as Wordpress or Drupal. Danielle also worked as a sub-contractor with DigiCoyote Software Inc., creating HTML/CSS markup based on provided Photoshop graphic designs, and was Lead Developer for UncommonCruises.

In 2009, Danielle joined Artistech Newmedia Inc. as Technical Director/IT. In this role, they created custom packages for Concrete5 or Wordpress based websites using PHP, Javascript, Ajax, CSS and xHTML, and converted provided PSD documents into themes for either Concrete5 or Wordpress.

In 2011, Danielle became a Software Engineer at Disney Interactive, a role they held until 2018 when they moved to CentralSquare Technologies as a Senior Software Developer. Danielle is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Oooh.

Danielle Tilley attended the University of Victoria from 1992 to 1996 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics and Computer Science.
