Farouk Gaffoor

Farouk Gaffoor currently serves as the Group Director of Operations and Managed Services at Ooredoo Group, where responsibilities include defining an operating model focused on customer-centric and efficient operations across Opcos, implementing automation, centralization, and enhancing customer experience. Previously, Gaffoor was the Head of Africa Network Operations at Vodacom, where a shared service operating model for the Vodafone/Vodacom Africa Cluster was established. Experience also includes leadership roles at Safaricom PLC, where Gaffoor provided technical shared services utilizing advanced technologies to support key stakeholders, and significant tenures at Vodacom, where contributions included engineering, strategy, and innovation for voice and data networks.
