Johan Borsjo

Johan Borsjo is an experienced telecommunications professional with extensive expertise in network engineering and radio access technologies. Currently serving as Head of Network Engineering at Ooredoo Group since July 2013, Johan oversees RAN and transport site solutions as well as network architecture design and deployment. Previous roles at Ooredoo include Senior Director and Director in Radio Access Technologies, focusing on 5G RAN trials, deployment strategies, and RAN performance planning across multiple operating companies. Prior to Ooredoo, Johan was Head of Radio at Net4Mobility, where responsibilities included the procurement and implementation of GSM and LTE networks. Johan's career also features significant consulting work at Cybercom Group and TeliaSonera, where achievements include optimizing networks in the Middle East and training personnel in radio planning. Johan holds a Master of Science Degree in Signal Processing and Telecommunication from the Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Malardalens University College.
