Dr. Joyce Sylvester

Dr. Joyce Sylvester is a prominent Dutch legal and political professional, currently serving as Dijkgraaf of Amstel Gooi en Vecht, and holding advisory roles at Oorlogsgravenstichting and Comenius Museum. In addition, Dr. Sylvester presides over the Staatscommissie tegen Discriminatie en Racisme. Previous experience includes serving as Substituut Ombudsman for the De Nationale ombudsman and as (Wnd) Burgemeester for both Naarden and Anna Paulowna, where notable contributions included leading municipal mergers. Dr. Sylvester has also been a Senator in the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal, involved in various legislative matters.
