Rick Mintjes is an experienced investment manager specializing in cleantech energy at Oost NL since September 2019, where Rick contributes to strengthening the regional economy under the direction of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate and the provinces of Overijssel and Gelderland. Prior to this role, Rick worked as a consultant at KplusV from February 2013 to August 2019, focusing on informal investing, innovation financing, and viability studies, and was involved in the Money Meets Ideas platform. From 2013 to 2016, Rick also served as a consultant for kiEMT/GreenTechAlliances, advising energy and environmental technology companies on strategy, business planning, market research, and financing. Earlier experiences include trainee positions at Van Lanschot Bankiers in the Private Wealth Team and at Rabobank. Rick holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Radboud University and degrees in Financial Services Management from HAN University of Applied Sciences and in Commercial Banking and Insurance from ROC A12.
