Heikki Hellgren

Heikki Hellgren has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Since 2020, they have been working at OP Financial Group as an Expert Lead Developer, where they lead development teams in retail banking, primarily working with Java backend, React, and various AWS functionalities. Prior to this, they worked at Elektrobit (EB) from 2017 to 2020, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later becoming an Expert and Product Software Architect responsible for the overall architecture of the Adaptive AUTOSAR product. Heikki also contributed to the AUTOSAR consortium for defining Adaptive AUTOSAR specifications for communication protocols. Before that, Heikki held the position of Lead Software Engineer at Max Technologies Ltd from 2014 to 2017, where they led a software development team for web and mobile applications and was also responsible for software releasing and continuous integration. Heikki gained experience in the mobile phone industry as a Senior SW Engineer at Nokia Mobile Phones from 2010 to 2014, working on the S40 graphics team and involved in the development of Nokia Asha. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Trainee at Nokia Mobile Phones in 2008, a Project worker at Max Technologies Ltd in 2010, a Project worker at Belleviews Oy in 2009, and a Web developer at IT-Salonen Oy in 2007. Heikki began their career as a Web developer and System Administrator at Oy Culmentor Ltd. in 2005.

Heikki Hellgren has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. Heikki also spent a year as an exchange student at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2008-2009, studying Computer Sciences. Prior to that, Heikki completed their matriculation examination at Haukipudas High School from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they have certifications in various programming languages and software development methodologies from online platforms like SoloLearn and LinkedIn, obtained in 2020. Heikki Hellgren also has a certification as an EOD I Operator from the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005-2006, focusing on Explosive Ordinance/Bomb Disposal.
