Sami Sivunen

Sami Sivunen serves as a Competence Lead at OP Financial Group, overseeing multiple technology-related divisions and managing a large team of internal and external experts across diverse operations such as banking and insurance. Responsibilities include line management of technology architects and IT infrastructure personnel, ensuring effective delivery in areas including cyber security, cloud technologies, and application operations. Prior experience includes roles as ICT Service Manager and Architecture Manager at Patria, as well as consulting positions at Accenture and Iobox - Terra Mobile. Additionally, Sami co-founded Futuron Wireless Solutions and contributed to academia as a researcher and lecturer at the University of Oulu. Sami holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Oulu.
