Carlos Prieto

Carlos Prieto has a diverse work experience in the engineering and technical management field. Carlos started their career at ORTRAT in 1988 as an Engineer, responsible for development of software and hardware for R&D. In 1990, they joined PLASTIC OMNIUM EQUIPAMIENTOS EXTERIORES as the Engineering Manager and Technical Services Manager, where they worked for almost a decade. In 1999, they moved to Plastic Omnium as the Engineering Center Manager and later became the Senior Program Manager for R&D until 2018. In 2018, they took on the role of Country Technical Manager-Spain/ Industry 4.0 Spain Lead at Plastic Omnium. Throughout their career, Carlos has gained expertise in program management, incentive financing, and technical services.

Carlos Prieto's education history includes an Engineer's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Carlos also pursued a specialization in Telecom Electronic Devices at the same university. In 2018, Carlos completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona. Carlos further expanded their knowledge in 2022 by obtaining a degree in Project Management for Industry 4.0 from LOGIKA-CADE Learning. In terms of professional development, Carlos completed the ADE - Innovation Training Program for Technicians and Executives with a focus on Technological Vigilance, Strategy, and Competitive Intelligence in 2014. Carlos also received training in the identification, evaluation, and protection of industrial property from OEPM in the same year. Additionally, Carlos completed courses in Lean Kaizen Project Management from KAIZEN INSTITUTE in 2016 and in the Management of Innovation projects from CEOE in 2015. Carlos's educational journey started with training at Adecco in 2013 and HeiFormación in 2010.
