Ted Maguire

Ted Maguire is a seasoned executive search and advisory professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Partner at Opal Partners since February 2022, Ted specializes in building next-generation frontier technology companies and capital allocator funds. Previously held roles include Advisor at PeopleTech Partners, where support was provided to early-stage people technology startups, and as an Executive Talent partner at Khosla Ventures, focusing on critical executive talent recruiting across various industries. Ted also founded the executive search function at Uber, partnering with the c-suite on technical leadership hiring, and worked at Egon Zehnder within the Technology Practice Group. Ted holds a triple major from Southern Methodist University and has expanded academic experiences at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen and Highland Park High School.
