Michael Cegielski

Michael Cegielski currently serves as the Power Grid Interconnection Manager at Opdenergy since June 2023, overseeing interconnections into power grids. Prior to this role, Cegielski held several positions in the energy sector, including Project Engineer at NextEra Energy, Senior PM for substation and transmission EPC projects at Ampirical, and Senior Project Manager at Hydrogen Group. Cegielski's experience includes managing large-scale EPC projects, with a focus on transmission and substations, and serving as the construction manager for the TECO storm hardening project at Enercon Services. Cegielski's professional background is supported by a diverse educational foundation, including multiple master's degrees and a bachelor's degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Astronautical Engineering. Additionally, Cegielski has military experience as a Counter Insurgency Specialist in the US Army.
