Nico Schmidt

Nico Schmidt currently serves as the Press Spokesperson for Germany at Leapmotor since September 2022 and holds the position of Head of Corporate & Internal Communications for Germany at Stellantis since August 2021. Additionally, Nico Schmidt has been with Opel since July 2014, initially as the Assistant Manager and later advancing to Group Manager for Corporate Communications. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Reporter in the automotive sector at Dow Jones from November 2008 to May 2014. Nico Schmidt obtained a Diplom-Volkswirt degree in Economics from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz between 2007 and 2014.
