Lorna Mitchell

Lorna Mitchell is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in developer relations, advocacy, and technical leadership across various organizations. As a Technical Steering Committee Member for the OpenAPI Initiative since March 2024, Lorna is responsible for maintaining and evolving the OpenAPI specification. Previous roles include serving as VP of Developer Experience at Redocly and Head of Developer Relations at Aiven, alongside significant experience as a Senior Developer Advocate at Nexmo, the Vonage API Platform, and a Developer Advocate at IBM. Lorna's early career includes consulting for LornaJane and leading development efforts at Siftware, as well as web development positions with Ibuildings.nl, Coolpink, and Symphony Group. Lorna holds an MEng in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of York and has completed additional education through Coursera.
