Claire Cotilda Nagaddya

Claire Cotilda Nagaddya is an experienced analyst currently working at Open Capital since October 2022. Previously, Claire held the position of Junior Fellow at Hakuna Maskini Youth Network, where key skills in value chain and food systems analysis, sustainable project development, and action research for sustainable development were acquired. Claire engaged in a research project identifying key value chain gaps and designing interventions. Earlier experience includes serving as a mentee under the Global Health Mentorships program and working as a filing officer for Masuliita Town Council, where monthly tax filings were conducted. As a Student Research Assistant for the Empowering the Agro-processing Industry project, Claire guided agro processors in improving product quality. Claire's career began as a Sales Manager at Babumba Development Association, focusing on retail sales. Educationally, Claire earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from Makerere University, completing studies in 2021.
