Damaris Lilech

Damaris Lilech currently serves as the Head of People at Open Capital since June 2022. Prior to this role, Damaris held the position of Associate Director in People, Performance and Culture and Administration at KPMG East Africa from May 2016 to June 2022. Damaris also has experience as the Group Head of Human Resources for East Africa at Guaranty Trust Bank (UK) Limited from December 2010 to May 2016, overseeing all HR functions and advising management on strategic HR issues. Earlier roles include Head of Human Resources at Fina Bank and HR Advisor and Senior Advisor at KPMG East Africa. Damaris earned a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the United States International University - Africa between 2004 and 2006.
