Ahmad Byagowi

Time Appliance - Project Lead at Open Compute Project Foundation

Ahmad Byagowi has held various roles in different companies since 2017. Ahmad worked as a Research Scientist at Facebook and Meta, starting in 2017. In 2017, they also became an Adjunct Professor at the University of Manitoba. Currently, they are the Project Lead for the Time Appliances Project at the Open Compute Project Foundation, focusing on synchronized time-sensitive applications in data centers.

Ahmad Byagowi began their education at Technische Universität Wien, where they obtained a Dipl. Ing. degree in an unspecified field of study. Ahmad then pursued a Dr Techn degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing it in 2010. Ahmad then continued their academic journey at the University of Manitoba, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science in 2016. Additionally, Ahmad obtained certifications in "Electronics Foundations: Basic Circuits" from LinkedIn in 2020 and a P.Eng certification from Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba at an unspecified time.
