Cooling Environments Project Lead For Immersion at Open Compute Project Foundation

Rolf Brink has a diverse work experience starting in 1999 as a Freelance Consultant. Rolf has worked in various roles, including Consultant at Citee, System Integration Development at NextiraOne, and Consultant at BT Syntegra. Rolf also held positions at BT as part of the Global Services IT Transformation team and as Captain/Owner of SY Helena before transitioning to the technology sector. In 2013, Rolf founded Asperitas, a Clean-tech company focused on immersion cooling solutions, where they served as Founder/Non-executive Director and later as Chief Executive Officer. Rolf then became the Cooling Environments project lead for Immersion at the Open Compute Project Foundation before founding Promersion in 2021 as Founder/Owner/CEO to support industry stakeholders with immersion cooling challenges.

Rolf Brink completed their education with a series of technical and specialized certifications starting in 1988 at Thorbecke. Their education path included studies in Electrotechniek at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1997, Small Business at Inholland University of Applied Sciences in 1998, and Bouwkunde at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1999. Additionally, they pursued certifications in various IT fields such as Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, IBM, PADI, and Royal Yachting Association between 2003 and 2010.
