Howard Askew

Howard Askew is a Senior Data Technologist at the Open Data Institute, focused on stewarding OpenActive data standards and supporting technical infrastructure initiatives. As a Data and Analytics Specialist, Howard has assisted various organizations in meeting their objectives since August 2021. Previously, at Ordnance Survey, Howard contributed to a Data Discoverability project under the Geospatial Commission, developing best practice guides and researching metadata improvements. With extensive experience at the Valuation Office Agency, Howard held several leadership roles, including Head of Predictive Analytics, overseeing the establishment of predictive capabilities and enhancing data strategies. Howard holds an MSc in Policy Analysis and Evaluation from IOE - UCL and a BSc in Zoology from Newcastle University.
