Nazeema Petersen has been working in customer service and related roles since 2002. Nazeema began their career as a Cash Office Clerk at Pick 'n Pay in 2002. In 2006, they moved to FNB South Africa as a Multi-Skilled Consultant (specializing in foreign exchange), where they processed cash and cheque deposits and foreign exchange queries. In 2008, they joined CapQuest Limited as a Senior Trace Associate, where they found new addresses and telephone numbers for individuals and met company targets and KPI's. In 2013, they worked for both Serco and Wonga.com as a Customer Services Advisor and Complaints Case Handler UK Operations, respectively. Since 2019, they have been employed as a Complaints Administrator at RCS BNP Paribas Bank and, most recently, as a Customer Service Executive at Open Energy Market.

Nazeema Petersen attended Ocean View Senior Secondary School from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained their Senior Grade 12 Certificate. Nazeema also holds a certification in Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners from LinkedIn, which they obtained in August 2022.
