Harsha Vardhan Madiraju

Harsha Vardhan Madiraju currently serves as the Associate Director of Member Success and Development at The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) since May 2023, focusing on empowering the geospatial ecosystem through Open Standards and Innovation. Harsha also leads the OGC India Forum, engaging with the community to leverage recent advancements in geospatial and drone policies in India. Previous roles include Associate Director at the World Geospatial Industry Council, where leadership in marketing, communications, and member engagement were emphasized, and Senior Manager at Geospatial Media and Communications, overseeing corporate marketing and IT infrastructure. Harsha's career began as a GIS Engineer, with progressive experience across various organizations in marketing, business development, and research. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Post Graduation Diploma in Geoinformatics from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University.
