Bernadette Pelster

Bernadette Pelster has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Bernadette started their career as an HR Officer at HFC Bank in 1999 and later joined Experian as a Recruitment Specialist in 2002. In 2003, they became the Group Head of HR Services at Sanctuary Group, where they stayed until 2015. Bernadette then worked as an HR Services Manager at Wychavon District Council and Malvern Hills District Council from 2015 to 2016. In the same year, they joined Open GI as the Associate Director of HR and was later promoted to Chief People Officer. At Open GI, Bernadette was responsible for talent management, employee engagement, and internal communications strategy.

Bernadette Pelster holds a BA Hons degree in Sociology from the University of Exeter, completed from 1996 to 1999. In 2007, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Employment Law (ACEL) from the University of Surrey. Additionally, they have completed the Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner program at the Knowledge Academy, although the exact dates are unspecified.
