Helen Andrews (FCIM) has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Helen is currently the Head of Marketing for Open GI, a SaaS solutions provider targeting the UK and EMEA insurance/finance markets. In this role, they are responsible for strategic and operational management of the marketing function, including team leadership, budget management, and all marketing and communications activity.

Prior to their current role, Helen served as Head of Marketing for PowerPlace Insurance Services, where they developed and executed integrated marketing and communications strategies for an insurtech platform targeting the SME market. Helen also led negotiations for joint marketing initiatives with major brands.

Before joining PowerPlace Insurance Services, Helen worked at Business Link as Head of Marketing Communications & Events. In this role, they led regional marketing activities for nine non-for-profit brands, working with senior partners such as government agencies, local authorities, and Chambers of Commerce. Helen also served as a Marketing Manager at Business Link, leading multidimensional brand campaigns and developing PR strategies.

Earlier in their career, Helen worked as a Marketing Executive at Rentokil Initial, where they specialized in content marketing and internal communication campaigns. Helen also served as a Business Administrator in the Housing/Care Division of Accord Housing Association.

Throughout their career, Helen has demonstrated expertise in team leadership, budget management, strategic planning, and building brand awareness. Helen has also developed partnerships with major organizations and achieved significant return on investment in their marketing efforts.

Helen Andrews (FCIM) obtained a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing from Dudley College of Technology from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed 3 A-Levels at Halesowen College from 1996 to 1998. Helen received their secondary education at Earls High School from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained 10 GCSEs. Additionally, they hold a Diploma in Professional Marketing and a Certificate in Professional Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, earned in 2008 and 2005, respectively.
