Fabro Steibel

Fabro Steibel serves as the Executive Director at Instituto de Tecnologia & Sociedade do Rio de Janeiro, focusing on the impact and future of technology in Brazil and globally, since October 2013. Additionally, Fabro is a Global Council Member at the World Economic Forum and an Independent Researcher for Brazil at the Open Government Partnership. A Fellow with the Organization of American States since March 2015, Fabro also held roles as Chief Area Manager and Lecturer at ESPM and Senior Consultant at IPPDH Mercosul and UNESCO. With a robust academic background, Fabro's education includes a PhD in Communications Studies from the University of Leeds and various post-doctoral and visiting scholar positions at prestigious institutions, including Harvard University.
