Emma Burgess

Emma Burgess has extensive experience in the healthcare communications industry. Emma has held roles at various companies, including OPEN Health, OPEN Health Communications, Spirit Medical Communications, Porterhouse Medical, Chameleon Communications International, Echo Communications, Hospira, Succinct Healthcare Communications and Consultancy, OnMedica, and MedSci.

Their most recent position was as Vice President of Client Services at OPEN Health, where they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they were the Director of Client Services at OPEN Health Communications from September 2022 to February 2023.

From January 2018 to September 2022, Emma worked as a Senior Account Director at Spirit Medical Communications. Before that, they held roles as a Senior Account Director and New Business Development at Porterhouse Medical, a Group Account Director at Chameleon Communications International, and a Client Service Director at Echo Communications.

Emma also has experience outside of the communications field. Emma worked as a Biosimilars Product Manager Consultant Support at Hospira from November 2014 to February 2015. Additionally, they held positions as an Account Director at Succinct Healthcare Communications and Consultancy, a Client Service Director at OnMedica, and an Associate Director at MedSci.

Emma Burgess attended St Crispins School from 1988 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Biology from the University of Sussex from 1994-1997.
