William Blackson

William Blackson has extensive work experience in the financial and automotive industries. William is currently serving as the VP of Strategic Accounts at Open Lending since May 2023. Prior to this, they co-founded LenderAuto in November 2021 and held the position of Chief Operating Officer until May 2023.

From December 2018 to November 2021, William worked as the AVP of the Lender Solutions Team at Cox Automotive Inc. Before that, they were the Director of Business Development at the same company from January 2015 to December 2018.

William also has experience working as the Director of Partner Management at Dealertrack Technologies from January 2014 to January 2015.

William's earlier work experience includes a role as the Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Open Dealer Exchange, where they worked from May 2011 to January 2014.

Before joining Open Dealer Exchange, William worked at Ally Financial Inc. from September 2007 to May 2011, where they focused on aftermarket strategic channel development for GMAC Insurance.

Prior to that, they served as the AVP of Treasury Services at Comerica Bank from July 2001 to August 2007, where they had success in product management and development, particularly in commercial loan service technology and treasury management clients.

William Blackson's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from the same institution. William also attended GHS, although no specific degree or field of study is indicated.
