Amadou Crookes

Amadou Crookes is a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since February 2024, previously serving as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Form Energy from April 2022 to January 2024, and at Upstream Tech from October 2017 to March 2022. Crookes co-founded Cymbal, where the role of Co-Founder/CTO was held from November 2014 to August 2017, and completed software engineering internships at Google in 2014 and Apperian in 2012. Extensive contributions to projects focused on environmental sustainability through the use of geospatial data and machine learning highlight Crookes's commitment to impactful technology. Education includes studies at Tufts University and Westtown School.
