Brydon Eastman

Brydon Eastman is a member of the technical staff at OpenAI since January 2023, previously serving as the Machine Learning and Data Science Lead at MinervaAI from October 2022 to July 2023. With a strong academic background, Brydon earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematical Oncology from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from McMaster University. Brydon has held various teaching and research roles, including sessional instructor and teaching assistant positions at the University of Waterloo, McMaster University, and Redeemer University College, as well as a researcher for the COVID-TA project. Prior experience includes being a research assistant funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and collaborating with various professors at Redeemer University College.
