Haitang Hu

Haitang Hu is a technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and system administration. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since September 2023, Haitang has previously worked at Google as an Engineer from June 2016 to September 2023 and held the position of Student System Administrator and Engineer at Johns Hopkins University from September 2014 to May 2016. Notable accomplishments include designing and maintaining the IDIES database and web services at Johns Hopkins University, as well as implementing web applications and conducting ETL processes at NS Solutions between July 2011 and July 2014. Haitang’s career began with a Business Analyst Internship at Hewlett-Packard in early 2011, where reporting tools were created to enhance productivity. Haitang holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology from Tongji University.
