Junru Shao

Junru Shao is a skilled technical professional currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at OpenAI since May 2024. With significant contributions to the Apache Software Foundation as a member of the Apache TVM Program Management Committee and as a committer for both Apache TVM and Apache MXNet, Junru has a strong background in open-source projects. Prior experience includes a tenure at OctoML from May 2020 to May 2024, where Junru held various engineering leadership roles, and a position as an Applied Scientist at Amazon Web Services from January 2019 to May 2020. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Machine Learning from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
